The Benjamin-UCH Fund was begun by First Presbyterian Church of Emmett to support the mission work of Dr. Immanuel Benjamin at the United Christian Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. An advisory committe made up of two elders, one deacon, and two ministers, one representing Boise Presbytery, oversees the Fund, and authorizes payments for work Dr. Benjamin approves and documents. Because it is a Fund of First Presbyterian Church, donations are fully tax deductible under the IRS code. One-time donors receive acknowledgement of their gift right away, and those who pledge monthly donations receive a statement at the end of the year.
